Francis Hall – Loyola University – Chicago

Join us in congratulating our friends at Solomon Cordwell Buenz for recently completing the new Francis Hall residence at Loyola Univesity‘s Lakeshore campus. We were thrilled to provide two colors of Interstate Brick to this project (lighter “Bronzestone” with darker “Ironstone” accents), as well as a number of special shapes custom-made by the factory.

Although this modern design, with its curved glass facade and a giant operable glass door on the ground floor, represents a new era of dormitories, the beautiful red brick masonry harkens back to the historic architecture found elsewhere on campus. We feel it’s a great addition to Rogers Park!
