Beverly Sunroom Remodel — Chicago

Quite the transformation! This  single-family residence in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago occupies a quiet lot across the street from the Dan Ryan woods. The original homeowners had built a screened-in porch over the two-car garage that was in serious need of an update.

The new owners were in search of fresh fenestration that could extend the room’s useable months. We provided three sets of bifolding windows from LaCantina Doors for the existing openings, allowing the family to comfortably enjoy this woodsy overlook even in the rain or during cooler months. By integrating Centor screens on all three sides of the space, the residents ALSO retained a breezy, bug-free area for the summer!

Aluminum cladding on the exterior will prevent the frames from rusting, while warm Douglas Fir lines the interior for a rustic, forest-friendly aesthetic. Best of all, the scope of work for this home makeover included structural improvements that allowed for a delightful open-air patio to be added above the revitalized four-seasons room.
