Michael Abraham Architects’ recent office expansion into the neighboring space is nothing short of stunning. It perfectly embodies the firm’s philosophy of “melding traditional forms with modern lifestyles.”
The façade features long-format glazed brick from S.Anselmo, carefully crafted through extrusion, firing, glazing, and firing again to achieve its reflective finish. Even though the clay body is consistent, the varied levels of clear glaze create dynamic shifts in tone—some bricks gleam golden, while others reflect deep blue and black hues.
This shimmering, textural wall plays beautifully against the crisp geometry of the black inset framing and the warmth of the bold terracotta-colored door. Paired with the vertical rhythm of the glazing above and soft greenery at the base, the design strikes a perfect balance between sleek modernity and timeless craftsmanship.
